The idea for the sculptural installation “Blocked View 33” is a continuation from my previous work Borrowed View 231, 2012. Blocked View 33 expresses completely blocked view across the installation, an influence and a reference to the land and manmade structures closest to the volcanic eruption in Eyjafjallajökull south Iceland early 2010 where millions tons of ash came from the volcano.
Material: Perspex, mdf, steel-wire-rope and ash from the eruption in Eyjafjallajökull, enclosed in the perspex wall across the instalation.
