After visits to Japan 2003 and 2005 some of my recent work 2005 - is influenced by the old Japanese wooden architecture and their traditions. This is part of my “Japanese Teahouse series” I borrow well known functional forms, exhibit and perform where culture and customs are different.

Amigasamon 2007 is a Japanese teagarden gate, a permanent installation at the Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury. England. Sited in an english garden where there is no teahouse to be found.
